VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is a not-for-profit charitable organization that offers 24/7 healthcare and support services in the home and community to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. As one of the largest not-for-profit providers of publicly-funded home care in Ontario, VHA provides personal support, nursing, rehab and community support services in Toronto and the GTA as well as in London, Kingston, and in Ottawa under the name Champlain Rehab Solutions.

VHA was founded in 1925 as the Visiting Homemakers Association with just 14 support workers providing assistance to new mothers. VHA has grown a lot in scope and size since then with over 3000 team members today, and we are proud to be celebrating VHA’s 100th anniversary in 2025. Throughout the past 100 years, VHA has stayed true to the vision of providing the highest quality compassionate care to vulnerable populations so they can maintain their independence and live safely at home.
