BREATHE Midwives is a community-rooted charitable organization committed to advancing equitable, culturally responsive maternal healthcare for Black communities. Our work is grounded in the belief that Black birthing individuals deserve care that is not only clinically excellent, but also affirming, dignified, and deeply attuned to their lived experiences. Through a combination of direct care, community programming, and advocacy, BREATHE works to address the disproportionate challenges in maternal health and expand access to holistic, community-centered care.
