About the Job

As the Director of Inclusion, Sustainability & Community you will have the opportunity to cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for our employees. Working cross-functionally, with reach and influence across the entire global organization, you will focus on further advancement of our diversity, equity and inclusion programs, sustainability initiatives, and community partnerships. You are passionate about playing an influential role in creating an environment where individuals feel empowered, respected, and where diversity is celebrated.

As Director of Inclusion, Sustainability, & Community, You Will…

  • Further define, develop and evolve the global DEI programming, strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, including, but not limited to, employee experience, human resources, talent acquisition, marketing, and communications, to support and build on our existing culture and community ensuring meaningful, engaging and authentic communications and training, taking into account diverse perspectives
  • Influence policies and processes that support an inclusive work environment in areas such as talent acquisition and management, employee experience, and human resources
  • Partner with and support as a subject matter expert, to educate and share knowledge across the organization by assessing audience needs, generating content, creating and managing learning paths and engagement
  • Advise our global senior leadership, internal DEI working groups and councils, as well as our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • Lead critical external relationships as required to leverage best practices, and create mutually beneficial solutions to further Inclusion in all related organizations
  • Participate in sustainability working groups and initiatives, and measure success in areas such as supplier diversity and sustainable procurement
  • Partner with talent acquisition teams to ensure policies and processes are fair, equitable, and apply objective hiring procedures
  • Set, measure, report and forecast various metrics and targets related to DEI and sustainability
  • Cultivate and influence partnerships with community organizations to reach a diverse group of candidates and partnership opportunities
  • Assist with the various data collection processes, and develop reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively seek opportunities for 24-7 Intouch to increase our supplier diversity pipeline and partners, including making recommendations for partnership transitioning with stakeholders
  • Assist with various special projects and employee engagement events

As Director of Inclusion, Sustainability, & Community, You Have…

  • Experience working with a focus on all, or a combination of, the following areas: DEI, sustainability, ESG and/or Social Responsibility (or comparable business experience)
  • Track record of success in designing, influencing and executing on organizational DEI change initiatives in a fast-paced organization
  • Solid knowledge and working experience leading DEI initiatives, anti-racism related initiatives and training programs
  • Ability to lead by influence, amongst varying internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships, with exceptional effective listening skills and openness
  • A high-integrity self-starter who loves to collaborate cross functionally
  • Experience with various types of DEI similar data gathering, management and reporting an asset
  • A desire to create, implement and measures success of new programs and initiatives with proven program and project management skills
  • Ability to handle situations and data with confidentiality and integrity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to be calm under pressure and solution-focused
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize with an attention to detail
